Basically before the acquisition, it was still not great and now with their acquisition, they are laying off people left and right from the original company with no mercy. Pay was low - they gave me a raise to lay me off shortly after, they also moved me to a different department for a empty role need to then lay me off for a year, ruining my resume basically with a year of experience in something completely different than my normal history. I was excited to pivot and they used it against me. I will say they gave me a two week notice and let me do nothing for two week's while being paid, I got a week of severance pay per year of being there so a month's worth. If it weren't for the acquisition, I would have stayed longer because I enjoyed the work life balance. There was also some Asian and queer employees that appeared to be targeted for layoffs before other races. That was just low.
