Pros

Highly motivated, hardworking, and most importantly PLEASANT colleagues. I have yet to meet someone who didn't greet me with a smile and a couple of nice words. Everyone is actively invested in your success. People here enjoy working hard as well as helping others succeed. They almost always smile, and they take ownership of their work. At least, such is my experiences to far. C3 AI is growing very quickly at the moment to capture as much of the market as possible, so you know they are doing something right on the marketing side! The offices during COVID are uniquely equipped (although attendance is completely optional), with rapid tests twice a week, individual catered meals, and constant cleaning. They are also pretty empty, which is a fun experience. As a recent hire, I read many exuberant reviews (and was a little suspicious about the fact that they were overwhelmingly positive) as well as a couple that claimed that "the company forces you to write good reviews." It's true that the company encourages everyone to post a Glassdoor review, but they NEVER so much as imply that the content should be misleading. C3 AI is a company that looks to expand fast and attract top talent, so it makes complete sense that they would want everyone to share their experiences on Glassdoor!

Cons

I have no personal experience with this yet, but I understand that work-life balance is often hard to maintain. This is not only a con, given that the company seems to select for hard-working individuals and almost IMMEDIATELY has everyone do impactful work (which is probably what most Sillicon Valley engineers are looking for anyway). There is a lot of work to be done, and that's why the company is constantly hiring. They are quite open about it during the interview process. However, on an individual level, being overworked can lead to bad outcomes, including productivity and motivation loss.
