      Pros

      Some good people work for the company and it probably depends on where you land.

      Cons

      Company really could care less about mission. I went to an all hands and I can't remember the number of times we were reminded that we are a for profit business. The ratio of technical to non-technical staff is alarmingly high for a so called tech company. They specialize in getting contracts and then staffing it full of management and administrative staff. On the technical side, if you can write Python they will call you a software engineer and bill it to the government. What they care about is butts in seats.

      Management doesn’t care about you. Doesn’t really care about doing the job either. They just care about how many hours you can bill.

      For the assertive person there will be opportunities, be sure to promote your accomplishments and find work which brings you into contact with leadership in order to be recognized for promotion. Take on new jobs within even if you don't qualify, it's what others do and learn the job as you go. Only a small percentage of people are considered for the good roles, be one of those by initiating engagement and taking on opportunities to work outside your role when they present. If you're a fly below the radar worker, want to get in and get out, not engage and not promote, this is that company. You'll be paid fairly, annual increases for meeting expectations is 3.5 percent.

      Manager turnover is high, leading to lack of continuity in your annual revue input.
