Working for Cal Poly is very enjoyable if you're looking for long-term career stability, work-life balance, and a chance to keep learning and polishing your skills as you work. Coworkers are generally friendly and respectful, and honest feedback and communication is encouraged. Lots of projects involve research and development into impact on the campus so you need to be self-motivated to learn new skill sets.

Pay and benefits are very good for the area. Nice college atmosphere. I like my department and coworkers a lot. Good opportunity to move around once you get a job here.
