Not for Corporate Employees

Pros

You are allowed to flex your time for a better work-life balance. They provide training to employees for job specific development and professional development

Cons

Healthcare plans are overpriced for their quality. Corporate staff is not valued for their work and they are underpaid from market value. Leadership is detached and only cares about the bottom line. For a company that emphasizes that they care about their people it doesn't come across that way. Nepotism runs rampant through CALIBRE

Great company but terrible leadership

Pros

The company emphasizes a great work/life balance to which they held true to, so utilizing leave is not an issue.

Cons

The leadership team does not take action in assisting employees with upward mobility. Favoritism is evident and is really discouraging.

Pros

CALIBRE offers CALIBRE University, an online site that provides online and onsite courses on various subjects. They offer commuter benefits and telecommuting options.

Cons

There are too many leadership changes from the PM level on up. Employees at times do not know who to report to, or even what the mission of their project is. There is constant employee turnover, and no one that wants to take the time to document processes, discussions, or document key decisions within a project for new team members coming aboard. Benefits are constantly being slashed. Flexible time is constantly being compromised because you have to deal with difficult customers on contracts that provide no profit for the company. Newer employees being hired (mainly ex-goverment/ex-military) are only interested working for themselves and not the success of the company. The company wants to attain certification standards, but it is not interested in making those standards part of the overall company culture. There was more finger pointing going on instead of people wanting to improve.
