Job security. They did not lay off anyone in the 2008 financial crisis. Benefits aren’t bad.

Cons

Playing into company politics gets you promoted. Those unwilling to play, go unrewarded. Measly pay, barely any bonuses. They promise future shares but do not pay you enough to cover capital gains on the shares.
