The product organization is run by politics and ELT members that have buddied up and if you're not in the good graces of these individuals, your career is at risk. Multiple re orgs in just a 6 month period all fueled by power plays from other executives. No one feels safe here and it distracts from doing quality work. This is a major culture issue that will not be resolved until and unless major action is taken.

I can't speak for the entire company just my team, but you need to pay attention to the sub par reviews as they provide a more complete picture of the company. - Politics is more important than actual performance - Skillset of recent hires is questionable, again...politics lowered their hiring/promotion bar - Pay is below market average yet leadership insists it isn't, as if online salary information is false. - Manager lacked a fundamental understanding of Computer Science and struggled to communicate in English. - Management likes to put on a tough-guy attitude, since they can't gain respect from their actions alone - Management likes to gossip about their reports, so anyone who doesn't freely give information about their personal lives is deemed problematic. - Ideal employee is a doormat on H1b/OPT - High emplyoee turnover is reflective of inneffective management
