Pros
there's usually work to be done, even when it's slow. health insurance isn't expensive.
Cons
Manager role is redundant, so they micromanage the lowest level employees all day, resulting in lower productivity and a toxic work environment. No flexibility. Missed time can only be made up with PTO. Compliance is not required to abide by the handbook, resulting in arbitrary rules they're allowed to make up. Although they lay out the disciplinary steps, you may be fired with no warning months after being late one time, which has happened to multiple coworkers in my tenure.
