Pros

Working here is awesome. My team members are all knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated to excellence. Our products are well liked, and the customers are happy. We are employee owned, so we don't spend much time being distracted by stock prices and quarterly earnings. We have some of the best benefits being offered, and the pay is quite good. Employees are spread out all across the U.S., leading to a highly diverse workforce. Time off is very generous, and overtime is not something I find to be expected. Working from home is an option for a large portion of our staff, whether partially or fully (even before the COVID pandemic).

Cons

I wish our IT budget could be higher, but what we do have is definitely enough to get the tools that we need. A large portion of our development staff is offshored, which is something to keep in mind, but they are very friendly, hard working, and experienced.

Pros

Management both at the division and corporate level, really listen to their employees It makes one feel valued, even if the idea is not ultimately accepted and put into practice. The employees feel HEARD! There is flexibility where needed and an open and collaborative environment. Remote working is definitely a PLUS.

Cons

Although working remotely may be a con in some areas, management has taken many steps to limit the isolation that comes with working from home - weekly social calls and collaborative monthly case discussions. Weekly meetings with your supervisor are such a big help when you cannot walk to their office as you can in an office setting.
