Income while you are looking for another job.

Cons

Although the company markets itself as an engineering solutions provider, it behaves in the manner of a short term contracting company. Basic processes such as engineering project management systems, and client billing are substandard. Project accounting is often incorrect and the errors are passed on to the clients. After several years of pay cuts and now two rounds of promised raises which were retracted, the clients feel the negativity. Customer satisfaction surveys reflect the poor culture.

It's good for a paycheck, for now

Cons

It could not be more clear that this company is dying. Good people are being put into lower and lower positions, though they keep hiring cheap new people because they need revenue, and they make their money from you getting hours. I would not be surprised if they told me tomorrow this company is done and my job is over.

Worst recruiting experience ever. If anybody calls you to work at CDI as a Recruiter then you need RUN the other way

Honestly, there isn't any. The only thing remotely would be that the other recruiters I worked with were nice people.

Cons

This is the craziest thing I have ever seen in my 15 years in recruiting. When I was at CDI we had a recruiter that has head and shoulders above anybody else. However, his submittal level was low because he refused to sling resumes to meet his quota. The recruiter had 8 hires a month but was submitting only 20 people a month. They let him go and kept the recruiter that has slinging garbage and hitting her quota but had only 1 hire a month. I immediately decided to leave and went Corporate and it was the best decision in my life
