Company is extremely top down in the sense that management does not listen to ideas or support opinions of employees. It is a "rule by fear" culture where everyone, including management team is constantly in a protect own's best interests mode. Company is very flat in regards to career path and as a result management does little to nothing to develop their employees. No opportunity for career advancement. Company does not promote from within at any level. Extremely bureaucratic...a form to order office supplies may take weeks to process for example. Other services that competitors can offer I am aware of one instance where it took over 6 months to pay a 3rd party vendor due to all of the red tape involved with getting an invoice processed. Management staff locally has little experience within the business arena that we operate in, the fulfillment manager had zero management experience prior to current role, and sales and recruitment manager both worked in similiar but not the same industry prior to their roles. There is little communication with employees on strategies for success.Sales, Recruitment and Ops teams all feel under appreciated and show little respect for their immediate supervisors, overall it just sucks. Many of my peers are currently looking to leave the organization due to ineffective management, poor vision or execution for future success and an overall terrible work environment that is boiler roomish.
