Pros

Administratively a very sound and excellent company to work for. No problems with compensation whatsoever. Like many other contracting firms, they mandated faxing in timesheets promptly on Fridays, and allowed for the following Monday until 10am.

Cons

Not much of a chance to network with other CDI contractors. Of course we contractors as a group were dispersed geographically and our experience and expertise was probably fairly diverse.

Pros

The best reasons to work for CDI is the friendly working relationships you are able to develop with people. Most employees are easy to work with and are willing to help as needed. I have to admit that my impressions of the recruiting and staffing industry were not very good coming into this job but by working for this company my opinions have changed.

Cons

My pay wasn't that great compared to other companies in the same position or in this location. Granted I was working on a contract basis. As with most employers, there seems to be times when management could communicate more with their employees.

Flexibility. Management was pretty flexible with allowing employees to work from home.

Cons

Fragment offices. Divisions did not share info with one another. When they did, it seemed forced and there was never any follow through on recommendations.
