      Pros

      When it gets busy, it's fun. A lot of thing to gain knowledge wise. Funny people yet others are bipolar. Leadership will try to help. But that's it. Try..

      Cons

      Contracts die so fast. When its slow, it is super slow. Sometimes no work at all for a month. Used up all my vacation time for slow weeks. Communication kind of lacks. Doesn't explain everything, just bread crumbs and you have to figure it out by yourself.

      - Steady work and a reliable paycheck - Supportive on-site managers - Ability to move around from contract to contract, assuming the client allows it - Solid work-life balance as long as you're not a project manager

      Cons

      - Incredibly volatile upper management with lots of churn - Inability to get a raise due to VPs constantly shifting positions - Lack of any sort of concrete direction aside from "grow the business" - Severe lack of career trajectory - Expensive healthcare with not a lot of benefit to actually using the thing - Low amount of paid time off
