Pros

Nice atmosphere Pays OK, but you have to live around the offices, otherwise not competitive if you are in Swiss bigger cities Diversity

Cons

Turnover is enormous (of course not disclosed by Management) Expect NO career progression. Cemex management style is based on the "hero" manager model. This worked with skilled managers 30 years ago.. However local management in Switzerland is totally lost, (no strategy strategy or even any plan). They are the managerial laggards within Cemex. As usual, the pressure goes down to lower positions who are paying for the lack of competence of their leaders.

Pros

Flexible, in case you work in the office, you can more or less manage your free time (depending on your supervisor of course). This is not true for the laboratory. Company financed language courses.

Cons

Low salary. Hierarchy and the "boss image" is very strong. Not registered nor paid overtime. Chaotic, a lot of money wasted on projects which have no time management, or have very low outcome. Managers rarely give any feedback, if they do, they are not constructive.

Pros

Cemex is a stable and strong company with fair opportunities to travel and be relocated. Fair perks, good colleagues and challenging work environment.

Cons

they reduce workforce periodically and add twice the load to the ones they keep. Growth is dependent not on your performance but how you socialize with your boss or the boss of your boss.
