      Pros

      Lots of interesting and challenging projects = lots of opportunities. International environment of people with different backgrounds bringing lots of different knowledge and experiences to the projects and overall culture. Friendly and welcoming colleagues all across the globe. Many colleagues very proud of the brand (but mostly outside Central Europe).

      Cons

      Has some of the typical corporate characteristics. People working and managing multiple day-to-day tasks while being asked to work on projects and special requests w/o clear prioritization. Sometimes slower decision making. Some of the issues lacking clear ownership on all levels of management.

      At CEMEX one has opportunity to work on projects in cooperation with best companies in its field. COMPONENT PRICING strategy set up in cooperation with legendary firm SIMON & KUCHER; sales process with SANDLER SALES SYSTEM, digitalitation is being consulted in Sillicon Valley and delivered in cooperation with many leading companies in its field. CEMEX is surprisingly commited to transform its business from local 'brick and mortar' to global 'digital'. Often company gives an impression of digital hub with competing AGILE teams, not the company in building industry. The place where you can learn a lot!

      Cons

      Often organisation is not able to cope with projects implementation on local / country levels due to insufficient human resources, capabilities ... Short lead times allocated for projects lead often to flawed implementations. Sometimes too costly or impossible to fix.
