Pros

- I learned a lot of things in the Logistics Industry that I would have not learned at my previous company. - Met some interesting people. - Diverse work environment. - Compensation for work is fair. - Modern and up to date hardware. - I don't work here anymore.

Cons

Highly disorganized. You will get a different answer depending on who you ask. Incompetent supervisors. Out of five only two are competent. They are trying to do the same thing as DHL. They are closing a bunch of offices through out the country and having 3 major hubs. Ceva is also outsourcing many jobs to India. If you are in one of the major hubs the other office are highly uncooperative since they know you have taken their business. Their is very little training, your expected to just figure it out. They give you work and tell you "do it" with out any guidance. Most do not understand the definition of team work. A typical answer is "that's not my problem or my job". They are trying to utilize a assembly line process, like an auto manufacturer, however if each part of the assembly process is very inconsistent and incompetent what will be the result of the finished product? They seem to be emulating Expeditors ,DHL and Toyota taking what ever process from each company that could benefit them the most financially, from their standardization and cost cutting to increase a higher bottom line. They are forgetting about the people. They are thinking very short term and not looking at the bigger picture "PEOPLE". LEAN and 5S what a joke? Their are bigger problems than how your desk looks. I'm glad I no longer work for you evil people.

Pros

Pay was very good relative to other similar positions, however, consider this "hazard pay", I no longer believe they can hire top tier talent without the lure of money. Their reputation precedes them.

Cons

A business model matrixed so heavily that nobody understands the strategy, nor the vision. Turnover was rampant and a small group of closely connected leaders and selected employees were openly and obviously favorited while most were beat down in the face of a very substandard service offering.

Pros

Ceva has provided competitive pay at the supervisor level. The vacation packing starting off was generous at 160 hours. These benefits are the few positive in my opinion.

Cons

Associates are forced to work overtime on weekend more often then not. Overworked associates have bad moral that presents unique challenges for supervisors. Most "support" functions have a hands off approach to the operation (i.e. Inventory team is a data collecting function rather than being responsible for inventory). No one wants to get their hands dirty and most communication is through unclear emails. I received no systematic training and do not have the tools to complete my job almost 6 months in. Lots of churn at supervisor level while support roles seem to be comfy gigs. Overall a culture of finger pointing seems to be toxic as many associates outside of operations seem to have created a "Snitch" role instead of truly supporting the operation.
