Pros

Good vacation time + 3 flexible days. 401k.

Cons

- CEVA as a whole doesn't share the same principles. You can see very good stations with excellent people and also bad ones with miserable people. You depend on them and they're are not going to help you. It makes the work so much more stressful than it should be. - A LOT of layoffs. They keep bad workers for years (those that call in all the time, and don't work hard) so you end up doing their jobs. - No training, people don't follow the procedures because they don't know them. Freight gets lost ALL the TIME and no one cares, but the customer that's screaming at you. It was a good company when it was Eagle, now unfortunately it's not a good place anymore. People who were working over 20 years were laid off. So think twice!

Pros

There is not a single good reason to work here. No automation, no efforts for automation, Dictatorship and no vision for strategic progress. Everything is controlled by the HO who do not understand and I think care about North America progress

Cons

If you want to be successful here, you need to know right people, no matter you know and do you job well or not. Micro management at every level and the worst part is no one here know what work life balance means. I have heard conversations where the employees are referred as animals. Some very senior leaders ( I will not call them leader by the way) said lets put some fear in them and on some other occasion someone said everyone can be tamed. Any project's first step is to find who to blame for things that will go wrong and people work in so much silos that it will never be collaborative place where people would want to help and its okay to do work outside your job description. Breaking point for me personally was when the team was asked to come during weekends too. The management wants to cut cost but not realizing the work is increasing. Some basic things are beyond some senior management and multiple efforts were shot down when the issues were brought to attention. There is something very fishy that goes on here. The management is promoting the second hand information and some childish behaviors.People on the bottoms grades are exploited since they are fearful of loosing job in this economy.
