Pros

Fantastic work-life balance. Bonus structure is unmatched in the industry. Very competitive base salary. Great benefits at a very reasonable cost to the employee. Employer match. Variety of projects. Environment where you own your own career - nobody is there to baby you or hold your hand. Promotions based completely on merit and not time spent at each level. Note: I have seen a few reviews on here that are simply not true and unfair to say. Know what you are signing up for. This is VERY different than what you are use to at BIG4. Yes, there is normal Audit work being done here. Yes, you might have to fill an interim role for a month. And most importantly YES, if you show up for those roles, take an interest in the client, and deliver a fantastic service at the end you WILL be rewarded for it. There are more M&A projects, transactions, IPO's, Stock Comp work, etc here than you can imagine or even dream to see in a year, BUT nobody is going to just hand it to you because you are here. You have to earn that work. You have to be trusted by the Partners and the Managing Director's. The best news being, once you are trusted, the sky is the limit. Also, I saw a review that they want to take your network. That is simply not true. At the consultant level, you are not in the slightest sense expected to bring in any work for the firm. Again, you are in charge of your own career. Some people like that - some people do not like that and want a little more structure. There is always help there if you seek it out, but no matter your experience level before you came here, you are treated as an adult. Nobody will look at you funny for coming and leaving as you please - just get your work done.

Cons

It can get political. However, If you work hard and are nice to the people around you, this will only work in your favor.

Pros

Good work-life balance. Depending on the project, you may end up working Big 4 hours but only for a short period of time. Overtime hours are compensated if certain thresholds are met.

Cons

This is a small firm, and therefore faces the same challenges small firms face.
