The Container Team manager, overseeing the documentation specialists currently, is inexperienced and undeserving of this title. Any new ideas or suggestions are scrutinized, pushed back and belittled. There are multiple people in this office, including his peers, who do not see him as an equal and do not think he should be a manager. Working in this team was exhausting, frustrating and unrewarding due to the poor management, discrimination and overall feeling of distrust supported by the current manager. It is blatantly obvious that some people are allowed to come in up to 1hr late without any repercussions, while the others are subject to undue scrutiny and much stricter rules. Any projects this team worked on have been taken by the manager and presented to the upper management as his own endeavors without any sort of credit to his team. The current container manager fosters an environment of hostility, disrespect and insubordination, however he spends an overall majority of his time picking through tasks and actions that will make him look good in his boss' eyes which is why he is still in this position. You are also not given any exit interviews because you're just a number to this guy and you don't matter.

Departments can be a little cliquish at first.
