Pros

Depending on the project, work/life balance exists; company stock matching up to 3%; company matches 50% of 401(k) contributions up to 4%.

Cons

Salaries are low compared to industry; company went from regular PPO to high-deductible health insurance and it's awful; projects tend to have lots of managers but few specialists and analysts; some project managers expect 60+ hours/week for functional roles on federal projects and brag about their own lack of sleep, family life, and proper diet; you pretty much have to hunt down projects to move to, since opportunities and needs are not posted anywhere.

Pros

The pros of working at CGI are the benefits. There are some good, professional managers if you can find them.

Cons

Senior managers are allowed to bully their subordinates without recourse and their inequitable treatment of employees based is overlooked and/or excused. Double standards are the norm.

Pros

Exposure to varied client base and engagement types are sometimes available and rewarding

Cons

in between projects is limited time on the bench due to types of available opportunities - seems like a way to reduce expensive headcount due to billing rates
