Decent employer who gutted health benefits this year.

Pros

Salary is average, Stock purchase plan (3% match to your 3%) is excellent. Flexibility of onsite / offsite work is good.

Cons

Benefits were gutted this year, but upper management insists they are "competitive". Many employees actually laughed at the description at the benefits meeting in 4th Qtr 2013. Raises are pitiful. No compensation for overtime, and the comp time program is a joke. Company claims to be "employee centered" but is organized to maximize profits over employee satisfaction.

Good benefits: Stock Purchase Plan, 401(k), medical, dental Great environment with generally friendly, diverse group of people Work / Life balance is better than most other consulting firms

Cons

Salary is less than competitive, training is minimal at best, cross-project communication is terrible, scope of responsibility is far too small, very little chance of learning new skills while on an assignment.

Average salary. Flexible hours. Good start.

Cons

If the company wants to replace you any time they send you to special program and they will make sure you will fail it, eventually they will terminate you in 30 days. So if you feel that they don't agree with you or you don't see that they pay attention to your demands/comments/ideas be ready to move to another job.
