      Good benefits, holidays off, bi-weekly pay

      Probably one of my worst experiences ever. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone with a heart or moral. They do not stand up to their Christian values at all. The management team is unprofessional and lacks personality training. The office moral is very low. Employee's option and feelings do not matter. Management get away with just about anything including harassment and antagonizing their staff. you are forced to use your PTO to cover your holiday pay and if you are out you are not paid and reprimanded. They have no grace period and the attendance policy does not take into account the Texas traffic.

      Cons

      Cronyism. Nepotism. Cliquey. Poor staffing on floor with high acuities. Inadequate auxiliary staff because they pay poorly. A high turnover of nursing staff. Poor health insurance options.

      Spiritual Culture, friendships made, focus is on excellent service. Growth opportunities if seeking a change in current position.

      Cons

      Lack of strong leadership. No telecommuting policy. Christus is very non competitive in the salary area and unwilling to change.
