The pay was not competitive, the benefits were more of an albatross, there was no career ladder and our department was informed that there was never going to be potential fro advancement regardless of education and experience.

Management is indecisive and lacks the knowledge of how medicare claims work. Supervisors are always on a power trip and are clueless as to how to handle personnel issues. Some people can literally sleep at their desk have the day while other have to do all the work but are not compensated for it. Politically correct diversity policies hamper productivity and do not allow good employees to move up.
