Pros

-Job Stability - as long as you achieve the basic activities your job is secure -Good pay and benefits compared to alot of other employers -Vacation time in your first year -I am fortunate to have a very good manager -Achievers recognition program - although very hard to earn -Very competitive products and services -Can be proud to sell investments and mortgages as we offer best on the street

Cons

Focus is on sales - sometimes client experience comes second -Of couse would like to make more money and earn more vacation,.... -Some managers are not good - unwilling to stand up to middle and upper manager on targets or goals that are un-attainable -Bonuses could be bigger / and given quarterly -Removal of support roles in branch - more work being added onto staff that remain -Outbound calls are a focus -- which I understand - but often calling the same clients over and over --- gets frustrating -Company often looks outside own talent pool to higher outside the bank when they have qualified candidates

Pros

Challenging proyects, reasonable pay and working hours, good benefits and if you are lucky a good manager

Cons

Some politics tend to delay results, red tape on higher positions, lots of burocratic processes to protect or justify from undesired results. Compensation for high engineer positions may be better out of the banking industry
