Pros

The pay is good and the company does a lot socially both inside and outside of CITGO. I have never worked in a friendlier place.

Cons

Mangement is typical of Oil and Gas. There are too many layers and getting anything approved can be a challenge. If personal productivity is a big deal you may find this environment frustrating.

Relaxed atmosphere, competitive compensation, above average bonus, excellent opportunities to get involved in community events, quick way to get a bunch of experience if you have weekends free.

Cons

Only career growth path seems to be from operations to the planning dept, continual budget cuts and lean staffing drops morale and the quality of work.

Great atmosphere, great work environment, exceptionally high pay rate for the position, lots of police officers coming through, great clientele, great manager, great with scheduling.

Cons

Work may become unevenly distributed at times, but those pulling the slack are compensated. No Benefits.
