Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Whenever we ask Associates why they love working here one of the top answers is always their co-workers. I'm glad you've found great co-workers even in a stressful environment like a call center. Keep a positive attitude and work ethic and you'll have a very successful career with City!

Pros

I normally don't go on social media but after reading so many negative reviews, I am compelled to share mine. I'm working with this company for over 18 years and started when I was new in town & single and nothing to show for except hard work ethics and desire to accomplish great things. Today I have great family at home and work family that I will cherish forever, you can say I have American dream. City furniture what made that possible. Of course you have to work hard, long hours and lots of perseverance but if you want anything good in the world, you need to to do more than just average. Trust me when I tell you, if you willing to make sacrifices that goes with achieving your dreams--YOU CAN WITH CiTY FURNITURE. Thanks Keith for making that possible for me.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about City Furniture. No company is perfect, but as long as you keep trying to improve that's all that matters.

Pros

They offer a good benefits package and training for the mattresses and furniture that they sell.

Cons

Work life balance is non-existent because you will always work on weekends and the shifts can vary since there isn't really any consistency. Sometimes you will have to work longer shifts because they are always short on sales associates. They set a sales goal that you have to meet by the end of the month and if you don't meet the goal three consecutive months you'll get terminated. They say they are family oriented but that goes down the drain once you involve money. Sales associates will do anything and everything to get the sale even if you have previously worked with the customer before no loyalty there. Lots of drama in the showroom.
