Pros
Commission is pretty good overall but could be better. Easy 50k a year job if you just do your thing and sell stuff that sells itself. Other sales associates are fun to be around. You can make some good friends at work due to the style of job that it is.
Cons
AS400 sucks. Get a more user friendly platform. Weekends suck to work but that is retail. Reservation system is probably the biggest issue with this company. So many loopholes to jump through to get something reserved for the customer. Stop putting duplicates on the floor just to fill in space. We don't need anymore beige rolled arm sofa sets. What we need is leather sleeper sofas, fabric recliners that don't mimic leather, nontraditional items like free formed coffee tables or a few sofas that come in more than brown beige and grey. Give me one true red sofa, a blue sofa, an orange sofa. Lastly, there needs to be an option for the Athena to come in true leather. That's one of the best selling items but it would be better if we could confidently sell it to a customer. Too many sales associates on the floor during weekdays. We don't need 20+ people on a Wednesday. It's just not needed.
