Pros

If you are a sales person, you will love this. You can certainly earn great money. Great company values, and everyone I have came in contact with is very nice. Upper management is very involved and they care about what everyone has to say.

Cons

Weekends are your money maker, so plan to work every weekend. Holidays are not paid either for sales.

Pros

The family culture at City Furniture is great. The CEO is very involved, friendly and extremely generous. This trickles down throughout the organization. I have worked here for over 10 years and love my co-workers and the company. I found a career at City, not just a job with great benefits. I joined after college and worked my way up in to management. The opportunities that were presented to me at the career fair were acurate. The company rewards people who work hard - it's definitely not a free ride. The company also embraces ideas that come from associates and always looks for ways to improve. There is a lot of growth planned for the next several years and I am optimistic about my future with City Furniture.

Cons

Each day is different in the showroom. Some days are great and then some days you have to deal with grumpy customers, but it's all part of working with people. Overall, the nice people cancel out the grumpy ones. If you are thick skinned then you'll do just fine.
