You'll see things you haven't seen before, lots of good people...ability to learn a lot of great information! Lots of resources available.

Cons

...but one bad one ruined it for me. A direct report of mine was unengaging, combative, condescending, and just at times downright rude. He looked at helping me when I needed it like it was to be frowned upon, and when I presented things to him, he made it a point to make me look stupid, wrong, and incompetent. Associated with just about everyone in the department BUT me on a regular basis. Then, when it came time for me to rely on him to follow his offer to help me if I needed it at the end of my time there, I got thrown under the bus instead!

I have very few good things to say about this firm. I guess some of the people were pretty nice.

Cons

Nobody actually cares about you. CLA is a smaller firm that has the attitude that everyone is replaceable, when in fact my local office seriously struggled to keep and hire new employees. (Shocking!?!?!) Difficult to get staffed on engagements since everyone is hired to be "pooled" seniors will only staff their favorite employees on jobs and if you are not one of those few people you will never get any meaningful work. Quitting was the best decision I have ever made in my career.
