      The benefits are nice, as well as the locations across the country.

      Cons

      The billable hour workload is intense, and even non-tax and non-audit employees are expected to keep a workload of hours on par with those employees.

      Pros

      The firm gives full time employees unlimited vacation and is very flexible with your hours. The Dallas office had a great atmosphere with lots of games in the break room that are used everyday. CLA is one of the few firms that lets you pick between audit or tax, and if you do both you will get to do the tax returns for your audit clients and learn all aspects of clients businesses.

      Cons

      Everyone works long hours, but that should be expected in public accounting. It feels understaffed at times, but then during slower months the staffing feel adequate.

      Experience to find another job.

      Cons

      All they cared about were your charge hours and efficiency, the extended deadline for taxes was a second tax season, it is cut throat between the partners because of their annual sales goals. Corporate looks at numbers only.
