CliftonLarsonAllen has a LONG WAY to go to become the "career building" firm

Pros

There are opportunities to work with talented, intelligent professionals. Most client locations are centrally-located, depending on the industry you are assigned.

Cons

Not quite sure where to begin; In no particular order.... 1) Single parents and NON-CPA's -- this is NOT the company for you!! Consider your options carefully before committing to CliftonLarsonAllen. This will not be place for you to drive your career in the direction you want it to go without serious sacrifices (e.g. willingness to travel local or otherwise on 24-48 hr notice (sometimes less), no support for studying or sitting for the exam, willingness to be "on-call" 7 days a week, including "vacation" (blatantly requested or implied)). 2) Benefits package is abysmal at best. 3) Compensation is on the low end, especially since you WILL be working just about as many hours as the BIG 4, depending on your industry. 4) Annual raises, bonuses & profit sharing programs are just as ridiculous as the benefits package. They are not offered in a way that would motivate anyone to go "above and beyond" on any engagement. 5) Opportunity to switch industry focus is unlikely (or if granted, will be provided on a very temporary basis). 6) Too much of a "production" focus, without a compensating return. 7) CliftonLarsonAllen has a "sink or swim" mentality and is not made for the professional who needs a lot of "hands-on" training.
