Pros
- opportunity to learn a lot about certain industries - solid IT support and software packages - infrastructure of a large firm, even if local office is small - for public accounting, hours are not too bad
Cons
- your experience will vary depending on the office. Culture is inconsistent. HQ is the only major office - I dealt with incredibly childish, rude, unprofessional behavior from supervisors. Hard to believe this is possible in a national firm. - massive turnover and management encourages this as a sign of progress - Base pay is below average, as are benefits in general.
