Pros

I was fortunate enough to work at the Seguin plant. It had a great culture left over from the Selig's and the management there was fantastic. However, at other locations this is not true within the company.

Cons

Not afraid to lay people off-especially the older and experienced to keep the young and inexperienced. For the record, I was the young and inexperienced.

Pros

I think it is the best kept secret in the DFW metroplex.

Cons

It appears the company is growing rapidly with little or no attention to the bottom line. There has been recent conversion to a new accounting system from Oracle to SAP. It has been quite a challenge to say the least. There are numerous unresolved issues as a result of this conversion. I'm not sure whether the consultants or the employees working with the consultants are the ones to blame. There were many accounting functions that were not considered as part of the conversion. I think in many cases management may have decided things about SAP based upon the advice of consultant or ill-informed employees and they may not have understood the implications of those decisions. In the end management may end up with a considerable cost overrun in spending as a result of this accounting software.

People, benefits, salary; excellent training and lots of free lunches throughout the year.Company is profitable and well managed and pays annual bonuses.

Cons

In-fighting among certain managers; lots of mid-level management whispering and a fair amount of mid-level management layoffs
