Pros

The commute to work was only about 30 mins which was great. Pay was decent, and benefits were above average. Most of the drivers are very helpful.

Cons

Depending on your load for the day, you might work a total of 8 hrs, or as much as 18hrs. Then you have dispatchers that are so clueless as to the log book regs, you think they just were thrown into the position. Lord forbid you make one of them mad, then you will get crappy loads until you apologize, because they are never wrong. Then you have a very young transportation supervisor that got the position because his father in law was very high up in the company, not because he knows anything about trucks. If you don't mind being talked down to, cursed at, and wrote up for policy infractions, when the brown noises are verbally warned then I think everyone should work for the trucking side of CMC in Seguin Tx.
