      Pros

      I have been working at CMG for over 3 years. CMG is the type of company where hard work gets noticed. I have been promoted twice in my 3 years at CMG. This is the type of company where you can grow as they always prefer to promote within. It is a positive environment and everyone is treated fairly. I hope to continue my growth within the organization.

      Pros

      Competitive rates, quick turn-times, can-do attitude / supportive staff at corporate, good leadership on branch and corporate level. Everybody at my branch seems to be very happy and everybody at corporate is very friendly. Good size company - not too big, not too small. 2014 Scotsman Guide had 7 top producers in San Diego - 4 of those 7 were with CMG Financial. Good place to be if you want to originate loans in a supportive and friendly environment.

      Cons

      Experiencing some growing-pains, but that is to be expected with a successful company that is expanding. Company may sometimes roll out new applications a bit prematurely, but they are quick to fix issues.

      Pros

      There is a small handful of employees who are not in the owner's 'click', who are the company's real driving force. Those select people are hard working, respectable individuals and great to work with.

      Cons

      Minorities should probably stay away from the company. The treatment seen and heard behind closed doors is disappointing. Company has no real training or clear structure, very poor management who (the majority) barely know what they are doing or how to correct the numerous errors within their depts. Nepotism is at an all time high at CMG Mortgage. Promotions & bonus are not given to those who truly deserve. Company employees are always complaining and are miserable. The culture of the company represents the culture of areas like Brentwood, San Ramon and other nearby non-diverse communities.
