The initial promises made during the recruitment process were quite appealing, including leads, coaching, and access to great resources. However, upon joining the team, I found that the reality didn't quite align with these expectations. While the upper management showed enthusiasm and support during the recruitment phase, the level of communication and guidance dwindled after I was onboarded. Despite the initial assurance of ongoing support, I felt a disconnect as I navigated the branch's dynamics. The branch manager and sales manager, unfortunately, seemed inexperienced in their roles, which impacted the team's overall cohesion and performance. I encountered difficulties seeking assistance and guidance, particularly when it came to file-related queries. Responses often took longer than expected, and at times, I felt that seeking help was an inconvenience for the team. This lack of timely support hindered my ability to perform optimally in my role. Moreover, the promise of leads was not consistently fulfilled. There was a period where incorrect leads were provided for a couple of months before the situation was rectified. However, this improvement was short-lived as the supply of leads was subsequently reduced by upper management. This had an impact on my performance and growth within the company. While my experience wasn't entirely aligned with the initial expectations, I believe that CMG Financial has potential for improvement. For those considering joining the organization, I recommend researching and selecting a branch that demonstrates strong leadership and a supportive environment. It's essential to explore all avenues for mentorship and self-development, particularly if one aspires to excel in generating self-sourced business.
