-Independence. Project managers and other higher ups have a lot of trust in you. When given tasks I feel like I have a lot of freedom in the way I accomplish them. No one will be looking over your shoulder. -Meaningful work. As a new engineer I am glad I get to work on projects that have a real impact. -Company Values. It is important to me to work with a company that shares my values. This company works to minimize the impact a building will have on the environment, sometimes eliminating that impact entirely (Net zero schools). On top of this you are helping to create a better environment for students. -On the job training. I have never felt overwhelmed with a task I have been given. You will always be trained on how to do something and your peers are always willing to help you. Overall I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend it to anyone interested in this sort of field.
