Pros

CMTA is a great company, has a great culture and is growing rapidly. Everyone works hard but there are also plenty of opportunities for social interactions and company outings. Other employees and Co-Ops are always willing to help you learn and it is a great place to intern as a mechanical engineering student!

Cons

Not all branches may be the same but there is nothing bad to say about the Lexington Location. CMTA did just join a larger conglomerate of MEP Consulting companies so the culture may shift over time as the company grows.

CMTA provides you all the opportunity in the world to grow. There are no barriers that will prevent you from growing your career to the levels you wish. If you are a go getter this is the place for you! Here you have the chance to have a measurable positive influence on the world. Every project we complete quantifiability reduces energy and improves our clients experience.

Cons

The construction industry can have it's stressful moments with long hours, the reality is a project is never perfect. The team here though strives for the best possible outcomes and is always learning from mistakes as a whole. Overall, CMTA has a great team culture, and everyone is willing to provide assistance in anyway to make those stressful times and long hours easier.

Pros

There's a concept that 20% of the people in a company do 80% of the work. This is a company comprised of only that 20%. Everybody is competent and works hard while being helpful to new hires.

Cons

I would not recommend CMTA for anyone who wants to just coast through their job. I would also not recommend them to anyone who wants to specialize in a single area of engineering.
