      Pros

      Excellent pay, benefits. Ability to do most work the way you want to do it. Most employees are easy to get along with and professional.

      Cons

      Long hours, unpredictable schedule, irregular shifts. No regular schedule jobs to look forward to as your seniority progresses. Attendance policy is not great either.

      Pros

      Decent compensation if you are on the corporate plan. Workload reasonable. Travel reasonable. Good benefits. Decent training opportunities. Able to get long term incentive stock at mid management.

      Cons

      Zero succession planning unless you are Canadian. Company focusing on shrinking US presence... very flat organization....used to be a North American Railroad. Not now. Company just cut all US bonus by 50% with only a 5% salary increase.

      Pros

      This company pays well and has great benefits. Unionized environment

      Cons

      Micro-managed. Management uses profanity to communicate with unionized staff, throws objects and they have a slew of lawyers that can prevent the employees' protection of their rights. Steer clear!!! Unless union personnel is "sleeping" with management their is a glass ceiling!!! No room for growth. Unless you're there for the money, look for other more fruitful careers!!! Definitely not worth having to wonder if you're going to be terminated next by some manager with a personal agenda
