Big teamster culture to the detriment of management functions, no up skilling for seniority keeps all the meaningful management talent at a lower pay grade. The summer interns are treated like a club house while winter and fall interns are treated like somewhere between the Revenant and the Shining teaching a Boomer excel tips or watching them play peek a boo with essential software packages they’re signing for a few million dollars in assets for. Unimpressed that south Asian HR in Canada wasted a breath dogging my supervisor’s Union mother as to whether she was my own mother in a back freight lot like they can’t spell “nepotism” or “career development.” Great to know I was on a hereditary gossip rag international before any career advancement was considered.
