Leaving at end of the day, being on break, not getting killed in the worst working environment I have ever been in

Cons

Everything else, if u like working every weekend for straight time, having massive deductions off your pay, and getting harassed, threated you belong here. I hated every minute and quitting after 6 years was like getting out of jail. The pay sucks, benefits garbage and YOU have to pay into your pension, hence the massive deductions. The economy is improving get a job anywhere else for even minimum wage instead of this crap hole

Pros

Excellent Compensation. Pension and benefits are amazing for railroaders. Challenging work which produces personal growth. Multi-national organization which is always a plus for career oriented associates.

Cons

Leadership is good at leading the business but again not diverse. Where are the minorities in leadership? They are non-existent. I wouldn't recommend this company to any minority workgroup. The company doesn't have any diversity and inclusion initiatives and that is a major issue. Racial tension exists everywhere, especially in union and even in management. HR department is one of the worst I've encountered.
