Good employer for hourly work, hard on management

Steady work with no risk of lay off, comparable rate of pay and good benefit package, some overtime if you so desire

Cons

shift work with fairly frequent changes in shift / days off makes for a difficult personal life or hard to upgrade skills if one does not have steady days off

"On the road and on call" lifestyle can be tough. Easy to work yourself to exhaustion on the management side. No overtime compensation for management.
