Pros

Flexible work schedules, supportive management, good pay...everything needed for a well balanced work-life.

Cons

No branch on an island with servers bringing mai-tais to my beach based office?? Seriously though, all work has challenges, but if you have support, they work themselves out.

Pros

I'd say the vacation time is generous...but just about every insurance company offers the same so not really. Nothing stands out as pro compared to other companies I've worked for.

Cons

Absolutely no work/life balance. A complete boys club. Management cares more about filling your pipeline than actually writing business. No recognition for success. Layoffs based on age and salary range (I didn't get laid off but know folks who did in October and the letter they sent out to prove it wasn't based on these qualities didn't supply information about all the employees who were laid off). Outrageous expectations for the number of sales calls completed each month rather than focusing on the quality of calls and allowing time at the desk to do your job. Management talks to employees and agents about former employees in distasteful ways. Very unprofessional.
