Pros

Good management at the employee level. Positive environment in the Denver office. Lot's of training offered but it was a bit disjointed.

Cons

Old fashioned dress code for a modern workforce. Many rules that seem arbitrary that limit individual freedom while on the job.

Pros

The salary and benefits packages are very good. The salary is competitive. Also, the benefits packages is pretty good too. Health benefits, dental benefits and vision are well subsidized. There are matching contributions to the 401(k).

Cons

Poor work/home life balance. CNA is very strict about timekeeping. They do not support teleworking options despite a strong emphasis on a paperless workplace. There is a backstabbing mentality; you cannot trust the feedback you get from managers. They are very strict about corporate policies. Violation of even the most minor policies from timekeeping or reporting will result in immediate termination.

Pros

The pay can be higher than at other companies. The benefits are average to slightly above average. The company supports continuing education.

Cons

If one gets in the wrong department, the work load can be very onerous. Work life balance can be non-existent. Senior management is trying to bring the company to the next level but the morale is suffering greatly because of it.
