If you live in Carmel the location is good. You'll learn what no to do.

Cons

IT has struggled to find good leadership at the VP level, and over the past year they have managed to make things worse. The leadership team in place now is the worse I've ever encountered. They have driven out all of the good and respected directors in IT, who have all left for other high level leadership positions in other companies. IT is mismanaged, lacks compassion, lacks focus, or any real management skills. My advice, avoid at all cost.

The pay was below market but not quite as low as one or 2 other companies

Cons

I worked at CNO for almost 10 years and they consistently demonstrated their desire for cheap labor, especially when they outsourced to Cognizant. There is a very poor work-life balance as well. I gave them every benefit of the doubt during my time and hoped things would turn around but I finally saw the writing on the wall and left to salvage my career.

Zero. Just stay away. Don’t let them fool you into accepting a contract for hire position.

Cons

Directors literally yell at you. And it’s tolerated by higher management. Stay away. Super hostile. You can’t do anything right and the directors are always right even if they aren’t. Don’t dare correct them. It just makes them more upset and they will come down on you for anything else later on.
