      Pros

      The culture here at COCC is the reason I stay here. Everyone is great to work with and management is some of the best management I have ever come across. The work/life balance is something that COCC has always been amazing with and every year they strive to make it a priority for the employees as they understand that life and situations just happen. There is always room to grow here at COCC between the training that is available to you as well as the ability to move up or to another department. My favorite thing about COCC is that they make sure every move you make career wise is something that suits you and will help you further your career. The company does a lot for its employees and there are always fun activities throughout the year to show us how much they appreciate the hard work we do. I can honestly say this is a true work family and I couldn't be happier here.

      Cons

      I really do not have any cons for working here at COCC. One thing could have been the work/life balance but since I have started here I feel as though management has understood how important it is to have that balance as everyone here does has thing in their lives that are very important to them. Every year COCC continues to look at that balance and make adjustments to make this easier for their employees.

      Pros

      Extremely employee centric company! Dedicated to work/life balance, excellent benefits and true human resources department that creates an experience like none other during your first weeks off coming on board and thereafter too. Its a culture like none other. I have worked for many employee centered companies in the past, world class companies, but COCC tops them.

      Cons

      I truly have no criticism towards any gaps or opportunities that company isn't already on top off and working towards better solutions. COCC is very focused on the voice of the employee and allows a generous amount of channels and outlets to provide a continuous flow of feedback and suggestions. In all complete honestly, there is nothing that I would list as a con. I have recommended COCC to friends and family and will continue to.

      Pros

      The company continues to experience growth which is very exciting. For our hard work in supporting this growth we are rewarded with benefits that I have not seen at other companies. There are constant surprise events and give aways for employees, numerous rewards and acknowledgements, and a fun, healthy atmosphere. There are lots of opportunities for employees to move around the company and learn new things. I feel very fortunate that my company appreciates the work that I do.

      Cons

      Fighting Hartford traffic on the way home. The good news is that there has been numerous discussions about employees working remotely. I don't think its achievable for ALL positions but certainly some.
