      Pros

      On site gym, upgraded, modern facility

      Cons

      Worked an an engineer and my superiors didn't have a clue as to my day to day responsibility or my macro involvement for the projects I was assigned. Keep in mind these were the people I interviewed with and worked for. Very confusing, and real lack of structure and organization. Overall very disappointing. In my opinion not a great place to work

      In our most recent workplace survey, a majority of employees indicated that they believe their managers care about them and help them develop and succeed. We’re really proud of these stats, because they show how we’ve cultivated an engaged and passionate management team to help support the day-to-day efforts of our employees. As we grow, we do continue to explore ways to grow our management team, ranging from management & leadership development classes, to one-on-one coaching, manager roundtables, and more. This is definitely an area we have a lot of focus on, and we look forward to continuing to work with our management team to continue making COCC one of the best places to work in Connecticut!

      Pros

      COCC has great training classes and they give you the opportunity to take advantage of these classes during your working day. I have been attending the Powerful Purpose: Cognitive Recharge Sessions which is a relaxing and recharging class. I love it! It gives you the chance to relax and take your mind off of work for 1 hour and they play nice mellow music to bring your stress level down. I would recommend this class to anyone who needs to relieve stress during their working day!

      There are no Cons for learning! We are leaning new things everyday!

      These "Cognitive Recharge Sessions" - also known as adult coloring classes - sure do offer a great chance to relax and clear your head during a busy day. We're looking at ways to continue expanding this program for next year too! Keep an eye out for additional classes in meditation, relaxation, chair yoga, and more.

      Pros

      Extremely employee centric company! Dedicated to work/life balance, excellent benefits and true human resources department that creates an experience like none other during your first weeks off coming on board and thereafter too. Its a culture like none other. I have worked for many employee centered companies in the past, world class companies, but COCC tops them.

      Cons

      I truly have no criticism towards any gaps or opportunities that company isn't already on top off and working towards better solutions. COCC is very focused on the voice of the employee and allows a generous amount of channels and outlets to provide a continuous flow of feedback and suggestions. In all complete honestly, there is nothing that I would list as a con. I have recommended COCC to friends and family and will continue to.
