Pros

As a large corporation they offer benefits such as medical, etc. If you don't like how thing are being run you don't have to wait long before they will change them.

Cons

As a large corporation you are a cog in a giant machine. They really only care about the bottom line and make decisions based on that and that alone no matted how their decisions affect the hundreds of people that are trying to execute their request.

Pros

Hired as drivers assistant to deliver and pick up furniture rentals. Hard work and lots of driving. LONG days, sometimes 11-13 hours. But I enjoyed it because I was young. $12 hour to start.

Cons

no room for advancement, supervisors will do anything to avoid overtime e.g. if you are at 40 hours in 3 or 4 days, they will continue to give you more hours with the promise of time off in the following week, or give you cash out of their pocket at regular rate ,not overtime rate. Scheduler gives unrealistic time windows for deliveries/pickups, can't grasp the concept of Chicago land rush hour issues, getting trucks in and out of one way alleys etc.
