Pros

"Flexible" hours,as long as they are within the 6am-5pm timeframe. Decent benefits, a good amount of paid time off.

Cons

Not much room for movement either within the department or a different department. You kind of just get stuck.

Pros

Base plus training great in comparison to the rest of the industry. If you want to be a P&C agent, there's no better place.

Cons

Churn through agents. No recognition of skill set by employer. Strictly developing P&C agents. Management tone deaf to experience of agents.

Pros

COUNTRY has great retirement benefits and great work life balance. COUNTRY is a company with excellent financial stregnth, which translates into job security.

Cons

Due to COUNTRY not being a large company, there is not a lot of development room within the actuarial division, but there are actuaries in higher leadership roles that will recognize your skills and help make development opportunities through rotations in other areas.
