Pros

RepChoice Dollars are great Pay for half of all leads Claims department is very good Office and support is great Training was very thorough My boss is awesome, the corporate culture is very family oriented and everyone is very friendly

Cons

Underwriting is strict, actuaries are making premiums way too high. Corporate is too concerned with profitability and is ignoring growth. I would have closed many more deals had the rates been better. It takes way too long to get a life policy issued, and then agents are barely compensated unless the client pays in full (How does this provide incentive to write life?). Simplified issue life policy rules aren't competitive and we can't write high amounts of coverage. As someone else mentioned, having to go back and forth several times for write-backs erodes the clients trust and exhausts them.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits

Cons

Training is very poor, fast paced. Job can be stressful and your expected to know the job after three weeks. Some insurance experience is advised. Hours are not good when you start.
